From Bell & Finch Studio Shop, here is a distinctive hand-painted secretary desk/hutch inspired by Indo-Asian decorative styles. The item has been exquisitely custom-designed and hand-painted by shop owner/artist June Parrish Cookson. Desk painted freehand using custom chalk paints in a harmonious arrangement of varied colors depicting repeated florals, faux fretwork, motif borders, and oval-shaped plaques. Muted gold metallic paint and black-inked line-work represent highlighting and emphasis on details.
The uppermost part has a split-arched pediment top and a classic finial positioned at its center. At the bottom are the ball-and-claw feet.
The hutch compartment has mullioned glass doors. Classic-designed fretwork is wooden. There are two plate rack shelves (non-removable) and the lowest shelf without a plate rack.

The drop-top fully extends 15 inches in depth.
The lower compartment has four dove-tailed, bow-fronted drawers. Easy sliding, they lend ample room for storage. The ornate drawer pulls with interlaced patterns are heavy solid brass.
