UPDATE: Item has SOLD! (January 5th, 2019): From Bell & Finch Studio Shop, here is an exquisite one-of-a-kind side-table. It has been beautifully hand-painted by shop owner/artist June Parrish Cookson. The overall highly detailed original design of floral and bird motifs is reminiscent of Kashmir (Northern India) embellished inlay style. Overall surfaces painted with custom-made chalk paint in various shades of blues and greens including metallic golds, and permanent ink. Both sides have matching motif designs. Top drawer has three separate compartments. Bottom drawer including the two side doors when open offer ample storage space.
Professionally sprayed with (matte) water based polyurethane clear varnish. Results ensure an attractive velvety patina including lasting durability. Additionally, interior compartments painted and varnished.
Solid wood construction, and structurally sound. Item is in excellent condition for its age from the 1940s era. Artist signature and shop logo located on the backside. In sum, an exceptional treasure to be handed down through generations to come.
