UPDATE: October 11, 2022 - Item has SOLD: From Bell & Finch Studio Shop, here is a distinctive china display cabinet inspired by Indo-Asian decorative styles. This exquisite item has artistry custom-designed and hand-painted by shop owner/artist June Parrish Cookson. Reminiscent of Indo-Portuguese Gujarat inlaid design, the piece lends rustic charm and an equally elegant ambiance. Created with custom-made chalk paint in a harmonious arrangement of varied colors and repeated stylized florals with intertwining scroll patterns. Metallic gold paint and black-inked linework for highlighting and emphasis.

The top compartment has double-mullioned glass doors. Working key included for opening the glass doors. The interior has two removable plate rack shelves that measure 11" x 31" inches (depth and length). At the uppermost part of the cabinet, is a split-arched top and a classic pinnacle at its center.

The bottom compartment contains one easy sliding drawer with pull handles. Below this, two doors open to ample room for storage. Additionally, the shelf is removable and measures 11" x 32" and 7/8 inches. Overall interior measurements are 15.5" x 16.5" inches (depth and height).

Side panels have matching (mirrored-effect) patterned designs.

As an option, a round drilled hole below the second shelf provides easy access to audio video cables.

All hardware (drawer pulls and hinges) are original to the item.

All surfaces have been professionally spray-painted with clear (matte) water-based polyurethane varnish to ensure an attractive velvety patina and lasting durability.

Structurally sound wood construction of walnut and mahogany.

Some surface imperfections considering its age estimated mid-20th century.

Located on the backside is the artist's signature and company logo. Also included are care instructions.

Overall Dimensions: 35"x 16" x 80" (width, depth and height).

The decorative design lends rustic charm and an equally elegant ambiance. Original artistry has been hand-painted with custom-made chalk paint in a harmonious arrangement of various colors and repeated framed scenes of florals and birds with intertwining motif scrolls, etc. Accented areas painted with metallic gold. Both side panels have matching patterned designs.

The top compartment has double mullioned glass doors with a split-arched top and a classic pinnacle at their center. The interior has two removable shelves that measure 11x31 inches.

The bottom compartments contain one drawer that slides easily. Additionally, double doors provide ample room for storage with a removable shelf. The hardware is original to the item.

UPDATE: SOLD (May 2022) From Bell & Finch Studio Shop, is this exquisite hand-painted secretary desk hutch. Features original artistry designed and hand-painted by shop owner/artist June Parrish Cookson. Overall decorative (Anglo/Indian) motifs feature fretwork, florals, birds, cows, and cats. The ground color is painted in muted blues and blacks using custom-made chalk paint and overall motifs accented with metallic gold paint. Both side panels have matching motif designs.

Hutch with double mullioned glass doors has a split-arched top and a classic pinnacle at its center. Glass has minor imperfections.

The interior of the hutch has removable 7.5-inch depth shelves providing room for books, etc. Additionally, the hinged flip-down (lockable) desktop has slotted compartments to store various items and three easy sliding drawers. The locking mechanism (key) works for the doors and desk compartment.

The bottom section has four curved-shaped drawers which slide easily and has ample room for storage. Drawers have original brass hardware (pulls). The front feet are bun-shaped.

This cabinet is professionally spray painted with clear (matte) water-based polyurethane varnish. Results ensure an attractive velvety patina and lasting durability.

Structurally sound wood construction of walnut and mahogany. Hutch and base are detachable, but not recommended!
