Then again, there are the flourishing sweet peas and Italian white sunflowers currently reaching between 6-7 foot heights. But back to the cosmos. Except for some windy weather mishaps (bent stems) and plentiful deadheading, thus far they've been the easiest plant to grow in the garden. Most importantly, free of bad bugs and disease!
While in the garden amid the cosmos, it's thrilling to watch their blossom heads sway gracefully in the breezes. Do you grow cosmos? Would like to hear about your experiences.
Note: bouquet includes lace cap hydrangea. Also, more photographs of cosmos and other flowers growing in the garden coming later.
Cheers,
~ June
