It may be the last day of September, but beyond the hill awaits further adventures.
Are you looking forward to October? For sure, I am. Love that cozy feeling as days begin to turn cooler. The scents and sounds of crackling bonfires. Plump pumpkins amid towering corn stalks. And then there's "All Hallow's Eve"!
Okay, getting in the mood. Time to reread Ray Bradbury and classic horror stories and watch spooky movies. Three movies in particular come to mind. For instance, 1961 'The Innocents' based on Henry James Turn of the Screw with Deborah Kerr; and 'The Haunting' with Julie Harris; also 1977 'Full Circle' aka 'The Haunting of Julia' with Mia Farrow. Goosebumps anyone?
